NJDTE returns again in 2017 to perform in Dance on the Lawn (DOTL), an outdoor dance festival held annually in Montclair, NJ, that aims to increase local exposure to dance by bringing professional dance artists, emerging companies, and students in and around New Jersey together in a community setting that is both free and open to the public. This year’s lineup includes: DanceWorks & Company, SMAPA, New Jersey Dance Theatre Ensemble, Lauren Connolly, Alborada Dance, Maurice Chestnut, Robert Mark Burke, Freespace Dance, 10 Hairy Legs, Troy Powell (Ailey II-Artistic Director), PROJECT 44 Dance, and Stephen Petronio Company.
